Keep your wool covers waterproof with BabeeGreens’ Lanolin Oil.
Wool naturally contains lanolin, an oil secreted by the sebaceous glands of wool bearing animals. It is their own defense against the elements: rain, sleet, snow and critters! It is naturally antimicrobial, anti-fungal and water resistant.
4 oz. bottle
Lanolinze once a month:
Fill sink/pan with lukewarm water. Disolve a pea size drop of Lanolin Oil to a cup of hot water and add to lukewarm water. Mix well.
Add 2 or 3 wool covers. Let sit for a minimum of 3 hours or overnight.
Lay flat to dry on a dry towel. You can remove excess water by rolling towel, but avoid wringing or squeezing the wool.
